NEW YEAR, SAME OLD RUNNING AROUND
Time is a flat circle, right? Or perhaps a deflated sphere? Or maybe a cube with the sides blown off?
Whatever it is, there’s something in its geometry that always seems to make us blue come year-end. Could be all the looking ahead while clinging to the past. Making plans while pondering paths not taken. Or maybe we’re just lacking a real sense of proportion.
Anyway, it’s nice to know our therapist, Bryan Ferry, understands.
